We are on the lookout for talented design professionals with a background in progressive architecture to join us at WOMO Architects.
WOMO Architects is an Amsterdam based practice, with a portfolio that encompasses projects of varying scales and typologies, including residential, mixed-use, and cultural developments. The team works on ambitious projects both locally and globally, with active projects in several cities in the Netherlands, the US, the UK and the UAE.
We are currently accepting applications for Designer/Architect role (0-2 years of experience), Architect (2-5 years of experience), and Technical Architect (2-5+ years of experience).
Qualities we are looking for in an applicant include:
Passionate and dedicated professional, creative problem solver and clear thinker, proactive team player with the ability to take initiative in response to direction or instruction, adaptable to various roles within a dynamic work environment.
Strong conceptual and design skills with experience in technical detailing and knowledge of construction methods.
Excellent command of CAD/3D modelling (Rhino preferred), strong graphic and communication skills.
Master’s degree in Architecture. Legal permits and visas to work in the EU.
Additional Qualifications for the Technical Architect (2-5+ years of experience)
Proficiency in Dutch is necessary for collaboration on complex projects based in the Netherlands.
Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:
Maken van gedetailleerde bouwkundige tekeningen en plattegronden voor nieuwbouwprojecten.
Vertalen van architectonische ontwerpen naar technische tekeningen die voldoen aan bouwvoorschriften.
Samenwerken met projectleiders en architecten om tekeningen af te stemmen op de praktische uitvoering.
Controleren en aanpassen van tekeningen op basis van wijzigingen in het ontwerp of de bouwspecificaties.
Gevraagd
Afgeronde MBO of HBO opleiding in Bouwkunde of een vergelijkbare richting.
Aantoonbare ervaring met tekensoftware, zoals AutoCAD en Revit.
Sterk technisch inzicht en oog voor detail.
Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
Een proactieve houding en de bereidheid om jezelf voortdurend te ontwikkelen binnen je vakgebied.
